Allen Chi is a longtime philanthropist, best known for developing the Allen Chi Gaming Scholarship, an educational program that supports students pursuing degrees and careers within the gaming industry. After working as a Gaming Consultant for several years, Allen realized that turning a passion for gaming into a full-time career and profession is a dream shared by many students. But too often, they are discouraged into believing that it is not a viable career path. Through the development of his one-of-a-kind Gaming Scholarship, Allen has proven that notion to be completely wrong!
Affordable Housing
Allen Chi is a Founding Member of Atlas Bold, an initiative that builds affordable housing properties. A cornerstone of Atlas Bold’s approaches is the belief that increasing the amount of affordable housing options directly minimizes the overall risk of homelessness in a community. Allen and the Atlas Bold team are dedicated to demonstrating that truth through the work they accomplish in communities across the country. The structure of the Atlas Bold approach to building more affordable housing options revolves around pushing for necessary policy changes, including but not limited to land-used regulation changes.
Whiskey Enthusiast
In his personal time, Allen Chi considers himself to be something of a whiskey connoisseur. A longtime spirits aficionado, he has viewed the industry as more of a hobby and an art form than simply a category of adult beverages. Over the years, he has attended numerous events, gatherings and conventions within the whiskey enthusiast community. Along the way, collecting and trading have become his favorite part of this personal passion!
